We all have stories that need to be told, if only we have the strength to tell them.
If you are a wonderful woman (and if you have to ask yourself if you are–stop right there. EVERY woman is wonderful), please send your stories to email@example.com.
More Information for Story Entries:
It doesn’t have to be the novel of your life. In fact, it is better if it is specific. An event in your life, a relationship that left you crumbled, an experience that made you smile, anything that is cathartic for you. It can be silly. It can be serious. It can be an old story. It can be new. It can be about suffering or loss. It can be about newfound love or the happiest day of your life.
The only thing is it must be about you and it must be honest. It will be anonymous.
Important to note: When you sign your story, choose a word that describes a part of you. Maybe this story makes you feel like a lover, maybe it makes you feel like a mother, or maybe just happy. While this word may not define you entirely, it is a part of you just as this story only sheds light on a piece of who you are. Ultimately, we are all wonderfully women but what makes up each of us?
With each story, we ask you to submit a photo of the same word you are signing your story with. Write it on a body part, write it on a sign, be as artistic and creative as you see fit.
Our lives are made up of stories. Heartbreaking stories. Rolling-on-the-floor-laughing stories. And a million in between. A large part of human history was spent without women having the capability to share their stories. It’s time to open to a new chapter.
A chapter that allows women across the world a place to share, a place to connect and place to be honest about the stories that capture parts of who they are.
Every woman has a story. What’s yours?
